Search a Parcel, Check the 2026 Value, Take Action
Use Montgomery County’s property systems to search by owner, street address or parcel ID, then review ownership, land and building facts, market value, assessed value, taxes, sales, deed references and mapped parcel information.
The important issue in 2026 is the countywide reappraisal. This guide shows how to find the parcel, understand the new tentative value, compare neighborhood sales, request an informal review, check overdue taxes and move to the correct county office without guessing.
Quick answer: where should you start?
Start at the Auditor-connected MCRealEstate system. Use street number + street name for an address, Last Name First Name for an owner, or the parcel ID when you already have it. Open the matching parcel and save the parcel number before moving to taxes, GIS, deeds or valuation review.

Review your new 2026 tentative property value
Montgomery County is performing the full reappraisal required by Ohio law in 2026. The Auditor says individual property characteristics and recent property sales are being used to establish updated values.
Check the record before disputing the number
Schedule an informal review
Call the hotline to schedule the review.
After checking the property facts, use the official 2026 reappraisal page. It links the tentative-value lookup, neighborhood sales viewer and informal-review process.
